Hi there!

I'm Arafat, a photographer based in Southern California, serving Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and beyond.

Through my photography, I try to preserve moments in nostalgia and dreamscapes. Photographs are treasures from the past, snippets of what used to be, times to be remembered and cherished. When our moms and grandmas opened up those albums to remember their loved ones, I can't help but feel how important photography is in our lives. I hope I can be a part of your journey to preserve those special moments in your life.

When I'm not moonlighting in photography, I'm busy raising our precious daughter and being a dutiful husband to my ever-supportive wife. Together, we also run a food blog called The Spice Odyssey, where we share authentic recipes from around the world, with a focus on highlighting underrepresented cuisines and culinary traditions.

On most weekdays, you'll find me building rocket engines for sending mankind back to the moon. For the past couple years I've been blessed with the opportunity to work on the NASA Artemis program. Making dreams come true for the little engineer in me!
